One Year Photos + Family Photos

{ONE}

Camden, Cam, Cammers, Cam Cam, Cammy, Baby bro-bro, Godzilla Baby, Camikaze, Camzilla...so many nicknames and SO much personality in one little body. Our wild and crazy boy has brought so much joy and chaos to our family this year ;)

One year photos with this guy were far from relaxing...Valerie, our photographer worked her magic and somehow by the grace of God captured these perfect images <3 The cowbell in these photos has ZERO significance...it was just a last ditch effort to get him to sit still for a few seconds...and it worked!

The balloons offered a small distraction...but not much.

The cake didn't do too much to keep him still either :/

But once we added sprinkles and gave him the jar of the sprinkles he was ALL about it! Thank goodness for Valerie's patience and photography skills...I was definitely a sweaty, frazzled mess by the time we left and I was pretty convinced there wouldn't be one non-blurry photo...let alone a photo where he was looking at the camera smiling. Needless to say I was pleasantly surprised by the outcome!

In addition to getting Cam's one year photos, I added on a mini-family session to capture some pictures of this handsome guy...

His brother may be too busy to sit still for photos...but this little ham is a future model. Posing, smiling, and playing it up for the camera.

These two couldn't be more different...but gosh, do I just love being their mama <3

Cam was not super cooperative during our photo shoot...but getting everyone looking at the camera at the same time...in conjunction with that lighting <3

This might be my favorite photo ever...AJ isn't a fan, but c'mon...look at Cam's face :)

I sure love these handsome boys of mine...how did I get so lucky?

One Year with Cam

This last year has simultaneously been the longest and fastest year of our lives....A new baby, a house fire, and a global pandemic...whew, no wonder I am exhausted :)

It's true that this last year has been filled with it's fair share of stress and chaos, but it's been filled with so much joy as well, and while Cam hasn't been the easiest baby (he was a terrible sleeper for 7.5 months...he is/was fussy, impatient, and has a temper that supports all red head stereotypes) he is SO full of personality and energy that he has made our lives infinitely more fun.

He loves his big brother, his papa, climbing on everything, and overall just wreaking havoc...but his smile lights up a room and his belly laughs make my heart nearly explode. His specialty may be driving me to the edge of insanity but then he can pour on the cuteness so thick that all is forgotten and I cannot even imagine life without our crazy little #Camikaze

You guys...seriously, this kid has changed our lives, and only for the better <3

Life With Cam: 11 months (Whoops)

I logged into my blog a few days ago after a very long hiatus...I was surprised to find drafts of blog posts for Cam at 7, 8, 9, and 10 months. I have zero recollection of writing these posts...but I was really happy to see that I had ;)
Somewhere at the 10 month mark I completely fell off the wagon...blame it on 5 months at home with 2 small children, a global pandemic, returning to work and wrapping my head around remote teaching...blame it on whatever, but here we are.

I wish I could remember enough to put together a blog post for 11 and 12 months, but to be honest it's all a blur. Cam started walking around 10 1/2 months and I haven't had a second to breathe let alone think since. This kid is BUSY, BUSY, BUSY. He is an adrenaline junky and his favorite past time is injuring himself. I swear he always has a bruise, scrape, or scratch on his face.

Instead of trying to piece together those missing months I am just going to share some pictures...I may have failed at blog posts, but you better believe I still took far too many pictures #Mamarazzi
