Kansas City Restaurant Week

It's no secret...I love food. I honestly had no intentions of my New Year's resolution or blog to revolve around food...but here we go again. :) I also didn't intend on this particular event to be a "what the heck...why not?" moment...that is until the snowpocalypse of 2010 hit.

Restaurant week in Kansas City has been something I have been looking forward to for quite some time, so when the storm hit I was definitely bummed. Well, apparently I am not the only one who loves to eat, because Brandon insisted we still go out and brave the arctic temperatures...and I figured "what the heck...why not?" It's not like I had to work the next day :)
With so many choices we decided on Pizza Bar at Power and Light. Their restaurant week special was a pizza, 2 pints of beer and a $10 gift card for $25! The pizza was delicious, the beer as always amazing and the company was even better :)
