Still in size 2 diapers, but they are getting VERY snug. We are just squeezing him in them until we finish up the last of that box and then will move to size 3s.
He is wearing 6 month clothing and luckily his big brother had TONS of short sleeved options in this size, so we haven't had to buy him any new clothes. I'm not sure how long he will still fit in them because it seems like he is growing really quickly nowadays.
Praise the heavens (and please don't let this jinx us) but he has been consistently sleeping through the night for about 2 weeks. He is going to sleep around 7 and waking up around 5:30....but we let him fuss around in his crib and he will usually fall back asleep. Our goal wake-up time is 6:30 so unless he is hysterically crying we keep him in his crib until 6:30.
Naps are still pretty consistent, his morning nap is usually around 9/9:30 and I wake him up at 10:30 so I can sync his afternoon nap up with Bennys. This mama needs that time to herself. Afternoon naps are usually from around 1:30-3:00/3:30.
He is very uninterested in nursing these days...there is too much to look at and being snuggled up with mama is not his priority. I have been nursing him first thing in the morning in his room while he is still sleepy and snuggly, before his afternoon nap, and before bed. The only time he snuggles me is when he is tired. He gets a bottle of pumped milk (since he won't be needing it at daycare) once per day and a bottle of formula for his other bottle. He needs to be in a quiet secluded place when he eats otherwise he hardly eats at all. Solid foods on the other hand are a whole other story. This kid can put away some baby food and table foods. He prefers food he can feed himself, but he isn't quite coordinated enough to get much into his mouth. The majority of it ends up on the floor or in his lap.
He is sitting up on his own and even pushing up to the crawling position. I have a feeling crawling will be happening very soon.
He is busy, busy, busy and into everything. Where his big brother was happy to sit and play with the toys within his reach Cam is not. He will fuss, scream. and then roll around trying to get his hands on anything and everything...mostly the things his big bro is playing with.
He loves taking toys out of buckets...give him a bucket or bowl of toys and he is happy.\
He loves going on walks and is SO chill the entire time. He is constantly on the go when we are hanging around the house, but put him in the stroller and car seat and he is happy as a clam...as long as we are moving.
He love, love, loves his big brother and the feelings are quite mutual. I love seeing their little relationship grow and I cannot wait until Cam is old enough to play with Benny.
This kids smiles, giggles, and laughs ALL.THE.TIME. His entire face lights up when he smiles and it's just the best. We sure love this little guy and are so grateful he is in our lives <3
